Welcome!

Welcome to West Davidson High School.  We are one of six traditional high schools in the Davidson County School District.  Our school is fortunate to have an outstanding, caring staff and strong support from our community. West Davidson is located in Tyro, NC with an enrollment of 803 students.  Academic achievement is our number one priority, but we also encourage our students to get involved with extracurricular activities such as Band, Athletics and various clubs.  It is important that our school produces well-rounded young adults that are college and career-ready.  Our staff is committed to having high expectations and providing quality instruction to our students.

West Davidson High School is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction.  We operate on a block schedule with four ninety-minute class periods each semester.
