About

Tyler Oakley is a graduate of NC State, BA '06, MA '08, and UNC-Chapel Hill, Ph.D. '14. As a graduate student he taught elementary and intermediate levels of Spanish. He also taught Spanish as an interim at Elon University and Durham Tech. He spent two years prior to West in private secondary education.
 
Tyler is a native North Carolinian and enjoys spending time with friends, family, and being outdoors.
